I work on floating offshore wind and wave energy systems, combining high-fidelity numerical simulation in SPH with ML surrogate modeling to predict farm-scale power output. The targeted frameworks should run on GPU and are designed to bridge the gap between physics-based accuracy and the computational speed required for real-world energy applications. I am looking for opportunities to apply this work at the scale to impact the energy transition.
Flagship Project
IM-POWER — an integrated model for the power output of floating offshore wind farms under realistic sea conditions, combining high-fidelity SPH simulation with physics-aware neural surrogates for hydrodynamic load prediction. Runs natively on GPU with linear scalability in the number of wind turbines. → Research
